CSS Links

When I need specific pieces of CSS information, these are the sites I keep finding myself refering to so I figured I would put them in one place so others out there could see which ones they had not yet had a chance to visit.

  • Eric Meyer's site - This guy is a definitely up there as a CSS guru, having written a number of books (more info from Amazon's site) and a bunch of articles around the web.
Well worth exploring what can be done here incuding the most excellent single page slideshow like process - S5
  • 456 Berea Street - Again, another true genius with a large emphasis on CSS and accessibility. Well worth trawling this guys articles and postings.
Also see his (and others) great articles on ThinkVitamin.com.
  • css-discuss.org - Their front page says it all really:
a mailing list devoted to talking about CSS and ways to use it in the real world; in other words, practical uses and applications
  • A List Apart - Some excellent examples of all things Web:
explores the design, development, and meaning of web content, with a special focus on web standards and best practices
  • Son of Suckerfish - These guys deserve a mention for a most excellent CSS based / only dropdown menu system.
  • Css Zen Garden - No section on CSS links would be complete without a link to these guys.
They have done some absolutely amazing stuff which really is deserving of a visit.
If you are a non-graphically minded site developer (like me) it is a must visit site.
  • Skidoo - These are the guys that did all of the hard work for the layout used on this site. Apparently makes it easier for users of text / braille based browsers.
  • W3C - and finally a link to the guys that define the CSS standards along with a link to their CSS validator.
